Dale State

State, Dale Allen Age 66, of St. Paul, MN Passed peacefully to his eternal home with his family by his side after a three-year battle with multiple myeloma. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Nancy, his son, Matt (Tonya), and his daughters, Kristi (Adam) Cooper and Jamie (Derek) Hernandez. His six grandchildren, Peyton, Dillon, Ozzie, Cruiz, Tyson, and Evalynn, were so precious to him. Florence Reynolds (mother), Lachlin Reynolds (sister), Doug State (brother), and many other relatives and friends will miss this wonderful man. He was preceded in death by his sister, Kathy Burns, and father, Douglas State. Dale was a salesman for Midwest Fence Co. Being outdoors and interacting with customers made this his dream job. Spending time with family, traveling, biking, reading, going to concerts and movies, playing games and cribbage, and watching any sporting event were activities Dale loved. His infectious smile, gentle eyes, loving hugs, corny jokes, integrity, unconditional love, and strong Christian faith will be missed by all who had the privilege to know him. Visitation will be Wednesday, September 3, 2014, at 4:00 PM followed by the funeral at 5:00 PM at Faith Covenant Church, 12921 Nicollet Avenue So., Burnsville, MN. Memorials to the family will be given to Dale's favorite charities.
