David "Dave" Hammer, age 77, of St. Paul died Friday July 11, 2014 at his home. David Byron hammer was born July 3, 1937 in Newton , Iowa the son of Frederick & Margaret (Cooper) Hammer. David was preceded in death by his father Fred. He is survived by his daughter Lynn, granddaughter Xanthe, and mother Margaret Brown.
