Dolores Mae Martin, 89, of St. Paul and formerly Hibbing passed away March 16, 2015. Graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Friday, May 1 at Maple Hill Cemetery 12057 HWY 169 W., Hibbing. Dolores was born on October 9, 1925 to John and Susanna Weinhandl in St. Paul. Upon marriage to Linus Martin in 1947, she moved to Hibbing, living there until 2013, when she returned to St. Paul to be closer to her family. In Hibbing, she was the manager of the S&H Green Stamps store for 26 years. She was active in Hibbing's golf, curling, and skating clubs as well as AAUW (American Association of University Women). Dolores was an integral part of the infamous Leech Lake vacation crew. She was a creative and artistic individual. Grandma Dee loved the holidays. Her pride and joy was the festive Christmas display in her home. Preceded in death by husband, Linus; parents; sister, Rosemary Kopet; brothers, John, James Michael, Richard, Dennis; and beloved poodle, "Mitzi". Survived by daughter, Michelle (Terry) Kaiser; grandchildren, Lauren and Cameron Kaiser. She was deeply loved and will be greatly missed. Memorials are preferred to Our Lady of Peace Home, 2076 St. Anthony Avenue, St. Paul, MN 55104.
