Dorothy Kokalis

Kokalis (Zubell) Dorothy Mae Age 90, of St Paul, MN Passed away peacefully on August 12, 2015. Proceeded in death by her loving husband Nicholas, her parents Nicholas and Tillie Zubell; brother Samuel and sister-in-law Lois Zubell. Survived by niece Mary (Greg) Kunz, nephew Jon (Janet) Zubell, niece Julie (Edgar) Rohde; 5 great nieces, nephew, loving relatives and friends. Monroe HS graduate class of '43. She moved to San Francisco, CA. Retired from U.S. Court of Appeals San Francisco, CA and retuned to St Paul, in 1998. She enjoyed spending time with family and socializing with friends. She was an avid reader, energetic walker and loved being outdoors. She will be remembered for her sense of humor, laughter and strong faith. Our thanks to her care givers and aides at United Methodist Hospital of St Paul. Prayer service Thursday, Aug 27 at 10 AM with visitation ½ hour prior at Kessler & Maguire 640 West 7th Street St Paul, MN 55102. Private Interment.
