Eldon Fletch

FLETCH, Eldon "Tony" L. Aged 81 of Minneapolis Passed away November 17, 2015 Born in Wisconsin, Tony attended New Richmond H.S. where he played football and baseball, passions that carried on throughout his life. In 1951 he enlisted in the US Navy serving on the USS Boxer until 1955. He loved hunting and fishing and spent his free time at Mille Lacs Lake where he made lifelong friendships. An enthusiastic Twins and Vikings fan, he rarely missed a game. His sense of humor will be missed greatly. Tony cared about everyone around him and never missed a chance to say I love you. He will be greatly missed by Judy, his partner in life and love who was by his side for over 28 years, children Cheryl (Butch) and Brenda, Todd, Judy's children Laurie, lovingly referred to as his "deadbeat daughter", Dan, Doug, Ralph, grandchildren Michelle, Michael (Sarah) and Melissa, great-grandchildren Trenton and Taylynn, and his many nieces, nephews and friends. Special thanks to Dr. Jonathan Marsh and Karen Doerfler, RN and to Amy Osborn. Private interment at Ft. Snelling. Celebration of Tony's life to be held Saturday, December 5 from 1 to 3pm at the Eagles #34, So. Mpls.
