"Ellie" Age 86 of St. Paul Amazing Mother, Grandmother, Queen of Our Hearts Died peacefully May 13, 2011. Preceded in death by parents John & Agnes Alsen; husband of 33 years, Jerome L. Miller, siblings Cecilia Voto, Marie Carlson, John Alsen, Margaret Alsen & Sylvester Alsen. Survived by six daughters, Margaret Miller (Mark Davis) and Kathy (Dan) McNamara of St. Paul, Barbara (Roger) Hanneman of Corpus Christie, TX, Julie (Bob) Mechtel of St. Paul, Marilyn Brandt (Ron Rossbach), of Lindstrom and Sue (Cary Bannie) of Roberts, WI; 13 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren; siblings Julia (Dode) Kurhajetz, JoAnne Barrett and Dick (Alice) Alsen. Loved by many nieces and nephews, good friends and her angels. Also survived by loving sister-in-law Kay Wood and brother-in-law Harold (Carole) Miller. Ellie was a resident of Osceola Place, a long time member of SOS Group, Burlington Northern Railway Business Women, Altar Rosary Society and an active member of the West 7th Community Center. An avid card player, Ellie will be missed by her card groups. Memroials preferred.
