Frank James Caruso Sr. World War II Veteran-Coast Guard Retired BN Railroad Employee Age 88 of St. Paul. Died peacefully Jan. 28th, surrounded by family. Preceded in death by wife Shirley, son John, brothers Joseph, John, Thomas, and sister Ann Shirek. Survived by sons Frank Jr. & Kathy Misencik, Nicholas & Dawn, Daniel & Mary, Patrick & Diane, daughter Mary & Paul Munger. 17 Grandchildren and 11 Great-Grandchildren. Also survived by brother Carmen, sisters Julie Pinski, Madeline Evanoff, and Rosemary Geisenhoff. Member of the St. Anthony Di Padova Society. A loving father, grandfather, and great grandfather. Frank loved to joke and sing songs with his grandkids. He enjoyed working in his garage, cooking, and "shooting the breeze" with special buddies Rick Volkman and Paul Munger. The Family would like to thank the caring staff at the Sholom Memory Care in St. Paul and his special friend Sonia for the love and care they provided. Funeral Service 11:00 am, Friday February 3 at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church. Visitation 4-8 pm Thursday February 2, at Kessler & Maguire Funeral Home and 1-hour prior to service at church. A donation for macular degeneration research will be made.
