"Howie" Weimer

October 5, 1919 — December 22, 2009

Beloved Husband, Father, Grandpa, Great Grandpa. Passed away peacefully December 22, 2009. Survived by wife of 60 years, Ruth; five daughters, Patricia (Dan) Phillips; Jeanne (Jim) Eisenhuth; Sue (Fred) Osten; Diane Carlson (fiancé Jim Zins); Cheryl (John) Keating; six grandchildren, Gabe (Laura Osten), Jamie Eisenhuth, Dan Carlson, Kristi Carlson, Ben Phillips, Liz Phillips; two great-granddaughters, Natalie Eisenhuth and Evelyn Osten; two brothers, Bob Weimer and Jack (Agnes) Weimer; one sister, Kathleen O’Hara; many nieces and nephews.  Retired in 1981 from BN Railway after 31 years. Played in a lot of sports, excelling in softball and baseball, bowling.  Inducted in 1986 into the St. Paul Softball Hall of Fame. He loved his family and was so proud of his daughters.  He will be greatly missed.
