His partner of 17 years, Sharon was by his side along with his son Tommy, siblings John (Sandy) Zuniga, Joe (Jann) Hehn, Jeff (Gretchen) Hehn, Jean (Doug) Filipkowski when he lost his valiant and heroic battle against cancer.
Jim has 3 children with his former wife Debbie: Mike (Alison), Jesse, and Tommy, the proud grandpa to Devin, Alex and Taya and uncle to huge group of nieces and nephews that are far too many to count!
Jim retired from St. Paul public works in 2020 after 35 years of service, where he had so many friends and was always a phone call away for all of them. He was an amazing artist, the lover of all thing's with an engine, avid Harley rider, and quick-witted joke teller.
