James Joseph Pacholl

James Joseph Pacholl passed away on May 15, 2024. He served in WWII in the army infantry in Europe-100th infantry division. He was a life member of the DAV.
James had many accomplishments in his lifetime. For 38 years he was a teacher and coach at St. Francis de Sales School. In 1994, the school named the gym and the auditorium “Pacholl Gym & Auditorium” in honor of him. James was added to Mancini’s St. Paul Sports Hall of Fame in 1994 as well as the C.A.A Hall of Fame. In 2005 he was inducted into the Cretin High School Athletic Hall of Fame. He also received the Bronze Star Medal for his military service.
James was grateful for the nursing staff at Wellington Residence and Minneapolis VA Home.
