Beloved Wife, Mother, Sister, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother

Preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Moore, and her son, Mark Moore. Survived by her children, Christine (Michael) Moore, Patrick (Michele) Moore, Michele Moore, Laura Moore, Matthew (Mary) Moore, Joseph Moore, Andrea Zins (Houstoun Clinch), 14 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren, sister, Ann Sauro, sister-in-law, Stella Sauro, sister-in-law, Janet Sauro and countless friends she lovingly welcomed into her family, who also called her Mom. Much loved by all who knew her, Maplewood Bowl waitress extraordinaire for 25 years, and she was the hardest working person we knew. In her many years of retirement she enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Jean was warm, calming, comforting, and she was a great listener. She also had a loving and wry sense of humor. She was an avid reader, loved going to the North Shore, and going out to grab a bite to eat with her kids. She loved hanging out on her deck enjoying the birds and the flowers in the summer.

A special thank you to St. Croix Hospice for making it possible for us to care for our Mom at home. Their care and expertise allowed us to fulfill her wish of being at home with her loved ones in her final days. Thank you also to JoAnn Sauro for sharing her knowledge about ways to make Mom's final days more comfortable. Mom will be so missed and will be remembered by so many. Family and friends will gather for visitation at 11 AM followed a brief service on, Tuesday, July 25th, 2023 at Kessler & Maguire Funeral Home. 640 7th Street West, Saint Paul, MN 55102. Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery at 1:30 PM
