Joyce Leland (Age 92) passed away peacefully on August 26, 2024 at White Pines Assisted Living. She was born on March 4, 1932 to Louis and Blanche Schimmelfpehig in Augusta, WI. Joyce was a caregiver at Highland Nursing Home for 22 years and worked in the kitchen at Lutheran Hospital in Wisconsin. Joyce dedicated her life to helping people.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 44 years Roy B. Leland; and Son Randy L. Leland.
She is survived by her children Richard (Linda) Leland, Tim (Karen) Leland, Debbie “Norm” Leland, Terry (Julie) Leland, Dianna (Jim) Boettcher and Deanna (Greg) Leland; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at Southside Baptist Church (5613 S Robert Trail, Inver Grove Heights, MN 55077) on September 4 at 11 AM with a visitation 1 hour prior.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
