Katherine McGuire

Died on November 5th, 2024, surrounded by loved ones.  She was born on September 8th,1949, in Springfield, MN.  She grew up on a farm with her family until they moved to the cities.  She has lived in St. Paul since 1963. She worked as a dishwasher at Bakers Square for over twenty years.

Katherine was an active member of St. Mark's Lutheran until they closed their doors. She loved to do crosswords, puzzles, color and create art. She also loved spending time with her family and playing games like Yahtzee and Scrabble. Kathy was a loving soul and always giving to charities. She was a giving and loving person who will be greatly missed by her family and many others.

She was preceded in death by her parents Clarence and Arlene McGuire, siblings Mike McGuire, Gloria Opsahl, and Dorothy LeFrooth.

Katherine is survived by daughter Tammy (Matt) Rud, nephew Brian (D'layne) McGuire, nieces Brenda McGuire, Jamie (Seth) Rusch; Jessica (Curt) Boehmer and   Theresa (Doug) Dupont.  Great-Nieces Alyssa Kingsbury and Brianna McGuire. Great-Great Nephews Kayden and Keegan Kingsbury, Ronan and Ryder Dupont, Bryon McGuire and Daryl Murray.

A memorial service will be held at Kessler Maguire Funeral Home (640 W. 7th St., Saint, Paul, MN 55102) on November 16th at 11AM with a visitation 1 hour prior.
