Age 62, life long resident of St. Paul. Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones, after a courageous 16 month battle with Myelodysplastic Syndrome. Proceeded in death by parents Helen and Warren; brother Frank and mother-in-law Mary O’Keefe. Survived by wife of 37 years Linda (Rice) and children, Stephanie (Brian) Schwartz, Bridget (Todd) Waters, Patrick (Ellimae) Kalinoski and Robert (Missy) Kalinoski. Grandchildren Rebecca and Zack Waters, Megan Anderson, Holly and Jimmy Schwartz and Kimberly Kalinoski. Great Grandson Calvin Velazquez. Brothers William (Mary) Kalinoski, Rick (Barb) Kalinoski; nephews Kim Kalinoski, Andy (Sarah) Kalinoski and niece Colleen Peterson. Godson Chris Hammerschmidt; father-in-law John J. O’Keefe and many cousins and friends. Served with the US Navy in Vietnam. Member of the VFW Post 6690 Mendota Heights,  MN. Retired from the US Postal Service after 31 years. Special thanks to Dr. Karin Armstrong, Casey and all of the staff at MN Oncology, United Hospital Oncology Ward and Infusion Center, Dr. Donald Gehrig, Laura and Mary, and Allina Hospice, and the many friends and family that helped these 16 months. Mass of Christian Burial WED 11:00 am at ST. STANISLAUS CATHOLIC CHURCH 398 Superior St. Visitation TUE 3-9 pm at KESSLER & MAGUIRE FUNERAL HOME 640 West 7 ^th St. and one hour prior to Mass at church. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
