Louis E.Miller,Age 78, recently of Minneapolis,
formerly of Roseville, died Wednesday November 14, 2007 at the VA Medical Center, Minneapolis. Louis was born July 29, 1929 in Dtroit, Michigan, the son of George and Anna (Leedy) Miller. He was raised on the family farm in Meir, IN. He joined the service at the age of 16 and met his future wife Lorraine while stationed in St. Paul. Louis and Lorraine lived at various bases around the world including French Morocco adn Okinawa. While in the Air Force he was an airplane mechanic and received the rank of Tech Sergeant. He served for 22 years and was deployed in the Korean War. He also received his GED while in the service and later went on to teach electrical courses for over 20 years. Louis enjoyed the outdoors, fishing ans spectator sports. He believed in education and enjoyed teaching. Louis was a hard worker who was a good provider for his family. He was a proud husband, father and grandparent. He also found comfort in his pets.
Preceded in death by parents George and Anna, three sisters
and two brothers. Survived by his beloved wife of 54 years, Lorraine; his daughter Loretta (Kelly) Dunn and his son Larry; his grandchildren Trevor Dunn and Natalie Dunn;
and his sister Margaret Gaines.
