Louise Marie Schwingle (Nee Meyer) Agge 84 of St. Paul passed away May 10, 2011. This amazing woman is now filled with peace and no pain after lengthy illnesses. Louise was born and raised in Mankato Minnesota. She graduated Our Lady of Good Counsel, 1944, married in 1947, and moved to Saint Paul. One of the original volunteers at the Armed Forces Service Center, she volunteered for over 30 years. She loved her sports, swimming, singing, sewing, gardening, and she loved her family. She was filled with grace and was a blessing to this world.
Preceded in death by her husband E.J.; parents Joseph & Ellen Meyer, her brothers, George (Claire), James, Paul, and Bill, her grandchildren, Alicia, Angel, and Michael, special niece Monica Holicky. Survived by her children Mick (Diane), Dan, Pete (Karen), Chris (Jeff) White, Sue Hannigan (Steve Meyer), Laura (Jon) Lundquist, Tom, Charlie (Laura Anderson), Nici, and many, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister-in-law Marian Meyer. Lou was loved by her extended family of relatives, neighbors, and friends. Memorials preferred to Armed Forces Service Center, 4300 Glumack Drive, LT3693, St. Paul MN 55111 (www.mnafsc.org). Memorial gathering to celebrate her life MON 4-8 pm at KESSLER & MAGUIRE FUNERAL HOME 640 West 7th St. in St. Paul. Private interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
