Wallace Mark S. June 20, 1951 February 13, 2015 Passed away peacefully surrounded by his family. Preceded in death by his father Jack; brother Jimmy; sister K.T. and sister-in-law Bev Plathe. Survived by his wife Mary of 42 yrs; Children, Amanda Pederson (Jay), Ben Wallace (Susan) and Henry Wallace (Clara); grandchildren, Vinny & Tori Pederson, mother Clary Wallace; sisters Ann Wallace-Lais and Mary (Dougie) Ohotto and brother Tom (Regina) Wallace; brothers and sisters-in-law he considered his own; nieces and nephews he cherished each for their own uniqueness. A veteran of the US Navy and graduate of UMM. Mark went on to a 34 year career with the MN DNR. He led a masterful life as a husband, father, grandfather, son and brother. He was a teacher and mentor to all those with whom he crossed paths. He lived a life rooted in love, kindness, knowledge, and expression. A gifted philosopher, poet, artist and environmentalist. He crafted the most loving relationships, even beyond his direct influence. Memorial Service Friday 2pm at Unity Unitarian Church 733 Portland Ave St. Paul, MN 55104.
