Myrtle "Myrt" Gunter

“Myrt” Age 97 of St Paul. Myrt was born in Pine River and worked at St. Catherine’s College for 17 years in the Printing Office throughout the 70’s and 80’s.  She won the Employee of the Year award one year and was well loved by all her coworkers. Myrt was proud that at 97 she never had her hair colored and had all her curls.  She liked to say, “Here comes Trouble” when she walked into a room.  She will be missed greatly.  She lived pretty much independently up until the end, and was surrounded with love by family when she passed.  Preceded  in death by son Sid, and great granddaughter Brooklyn.  Survived by children, Bev Horn, Doni  (John) Hamann,  and Kent; 9 grandchildren, Angel, Sid Jr, (Dawn) Candy, Tim, Josh (Nicole), Jamie (Darren) Kelsey, Samantha, Brian, and 10 great grandchildren. A Memorial Gathering will take place Sunday August 22, 2021 from 3-6 PM at KESSLER & MAGUIRE.  Any donations should go to the American Heart Association. Light snacks will be provided.
