Peter Hermann

Age 64 of St. Paul, MN Pete passed away peacefully on January 4th, 2022 at home after a courageous battle with cancer. Pete is survived by his mother Juanita Hermann; brothers Paul (Barbara), John, Martin, and Erik (Michelle); and stepdaughters Stefany Gravely, Samantha Keasling, and Stacy (Joel) Swanson. He is beloved by many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends. Preceded in death by his father John and brother Karl (Heidi). He was a graduate of Cretin High School and a lifelong St. Paul resident. He partnered with good friend Doug Betz to run Betz Construction for 30 years until his illness forced him to hang up the hammer. He was a long-time employee of O'Gara's Bar; performing all duties including booking bands, bartending, and bookwork. He also dabbled in the real estate game with cousin and friend Tom Preiner (Julie). Pete also provided endless emergency pro bono handyman services to many. Visitation will be held at St Francis de Sales Church, 650 Palace Ave St Paul on Wednesday May 25, from 10:00 - 11:00AM with funeral service to follow at 11:00AM. Memorials preferred to the cancer charity of your choice or Disabled American Veterans.
