Smith, Shirley Rita nee Voss Age 86, of St. Paul Passed away November 26, 2011 surrounded by loving family members. Preceded in death by beloved husband, Robert P. Smith. Also preceded in death by parents Max & Sylvia Voss; siblings James, Rhody (John) Gordy, and Red (Bev) Voss; grandson David Smith; son-in-law Mike Schreifels. Shirley was also preceded in death by her first husband, Raymond Rottman, who died while serving our country in WWII. Survived by daughter, Sylvia Schreifels; sons Robert J. (Cheryl) & Lee T. (Dianne); 6 grandchildren & 6 great grandchildren. Also survived by sister Joan (Jim) Zumwalde; special niece Rosemary & nephew Dennis & their spouses; many other family & friends. Sincere thanks to the friends & relatives who helped for the past four years since Shirley was widowed. Mass of Christian Burial THUR 11:00 am at ST. JAMES CATHOLIC CHURCH (View St. at Juno). Visitation 1 hr prior at church. Int. Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Memorials preferred to St. James Catholic Church or Shirley Chapman Sholom Home East.
