Shirley Ann Werkhoven (nee Thoemke), passed peacefully March 1, at age 85.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband Harold Werkhoven and her oldest son Wayne Arthur. She is survived by her children Cheryl Werkhoven-Hemmingson, Darlene Saunby (William), Andrew Werkhoven, Sidney Werkhoven, Sheila Avery (Tim), and Sharlene Karas (Daniel). She was also loved greatly by her siblings, grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
We will miss our mom, grandmother, and sister and will carry her memory in our hearts always. Visitation 4-6 PM Sunday (3/5) with Funeral Service 11 AM Monday at Kessler & Maguire Funeral Home, 640 W. 7th St. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
"We miss thee from our home, dear Mother, we miss thee from thy place. A shadow over our life is cast, we miss the sunshine of they face. We miss thy kind and willing hand, thy fond and earnest care; our home is dark without thee. We miss thee everywhere."
